About Dr. Burton C. Blaurock, O.D.
Dr. B was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in northern New Jersey where, in his senior year of high school, he was captain of the varsity basketball team. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and, after a year of post graduate study at the University of Louisville, entered the University of California School of Optometry at Berkeley. He received both a Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree with honors. He has practiced optometry for 50 years and still enjoys helping his patients with their visual needs.
Dr. B also enjoys his family and has a variety of interests outside his practice. In addition to his wife of 40 years, he has 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. When not busy with the kids, Dr. B. enjoys golf, photography, reading, Doo Wop music, The Course in Miracles and just being outdoors.

Mary Ann Reyes
Maryann has been with our practice for 8 years. She has been an optician since 1998 and has lived in the Coachella Valley all her life, with many ties to the community. Maryann can perform nearly any task in the office and has a great sense of eyewear fashion. Her friendly and warm disposition has added greatly to our office.
David Bouzas
A California native that has been with us for 6 years with 30 yrs experience as an optician dealing in all aspects of the optical industry from front desk to pre testing to frame selection. His eye for style and fashion is equal to his unparalleled knowledge of lens design. In his spare time he likes to travel the world visiting optical shops to find the latest styles and colors and collect Bow Ties.
